All CR-V variants sit on impressive 17-inch wheels, with the Sport and Luxury decked out with newly redesigned 7-spoke (Sport) and 10-spoke (Luxury) alloys.

The CR-V headlights provide sharp illumination thanks to halogen projector-style light assemblies. Plus, the Luxury model detects low-light conditions and switches the headlights on automatically.

High and bright in the rear.

Mounted high on the body, the rear lamps combine with a high-mounted brake light to ensure that drivers behind you are always aware of your intentions.

Lift up tailgate.

The top-hinged tailgate is lightweight and effortless to use, thanks to hydraulic dampers and special hinges. It's great when you're juggling grocery bags, backpacks, keys and other assortments.

Interior

Inner cool.

Five adults can easily relax in the CR-V’s refined comfort. The cabin is full of thoughtful details, from tilt and telescopic steering adjustment to steering wheel audio controls. Plus, the CR-V features highly configurable 20/40/20 split rear seats. They’re easy to slide forward to increase cargo space, fold forward to accommodate long objects, or fold and tumble forward to create a large, flat cargo area.

Set your own temperature.

All CR-V variants include air conditioning as standard. The CR-V Sport and Luxury also benefit from a dual-zone automatic climate control system that lets the driver and passenger each set their own desired temperature for individual comfort.

Double-decker cargo shelf.

A removable dual-layer rear cargo shelf in the CR-V Sport and Luxury variants allows for two levels of storage. There's enough room for an esky or collapsed stroller underneath, while retaining an area on top to keep delicate items separate.

Very clever storage.

The CR-V is full of amazing space-saving storage options including six extra large cup holders, four bottle holders, a centre console, and an upper and lower glove compartment. There’s plenty of space for everything in the CR-V.

Music to live by.

The CR-V features an MP3 and MWA compatible CD tuner and MP3 player auxiliary jack, with the Sport and Luxury boasting a 6-CD stacker. There’s also a convenient steering wheel-mounted audio controls, so you can change tracks without changing focus.

Blue ambience.

All CR-V variants are equipped with subtle blue LED lights in the roof that cast a soft glow in the cabin at night. Funky backlit gauges, offset by the cool ambient lighting, add to the CR-V’s incredibly smart interior.

Clear and present display.

Located in the driver dashboard, the handy multi-information LCD display shows outside temperature, instantaneous and average fuel consumption range, door ajar warnings, odometer and dual trip meters.

 

 

Performance & Economy

Manual or auto?
Choose between a 6-speed manual (CR-V variant only) or a 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control. This intuitive system enhances driving efficiency by factoring in the rate of acceleration or deceleration on hills or gradients to help determine optimal shift points.

Real Time 4WD™.

Some 4WD systems are constantly engaged (even when you don’t need them) which means wasted fuel, increased driving noise, and undue wear and tear to the powertrain. Honda’s Real Time 4WD™ system is different.

Smooth, efficient power.

CR-V’s 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine will confidently take you anywhere you want to go. CR-V boasts impressive levels of power (125kw @ 5800rpm) and torque (218Nm @ 4200rpm), without compromising fuel efficiency.

Sedan-like handling = fun to drive.

Maintaining a high driver viewpoint, the CR-V’s outstanding handling is achieved through a low centre of gravity. Together with its large wheels and wide stance, the CR-V has a level of agility that is normally only found in sedans.

Drive by wire throttle.

The CR-V’s drive-by-wire throttle uses input from high-precision engine and chassis sensors to improve driver control and engine efficiency while reducing emissions.

Great fuel efficiency.

The CR-V is surprisingly fuel efficient for a 4WD, using only 10.0* litres of fuel per 100km. So, although you may still need to stop regularly on long drives, it’ll be to stretch your legs, not fill the tank.

Low emission vehicle.

The CR-V only emits 237g of CO² per km. In recognition of its low greenhouse gas emissions compared to other similar vehicles, the CR-V is proud to be an LEV classified vehicle.

Finely-tuned suspension.

The CR-V combines a MacPherson strut front suspension and rear multi-link double wishbone suspension. Built from lightweight, high-strength materials, the system reduces unsprung mass for better handling and a smoother, more comfortable ride.

Tow the line.

There's enough torque and pulling power to let you confidently haul a small boat or trailer. In fact, both the manual and automatic can tow up to 1,500kg (using a twin axle trailer with brakes).

Safety

A little help from behind.

To help you navigate tricky reverse parking spots, the CR-V Luxury model is fitted with rear parking sensors, so you’ll always know what’s coming up behind you.

Cushioned in safety.

Every CR-V now has six airbags: dual front, dual front side, and full-length curtain. Plus, an Occupant Position Detection System gauges driver and front passenger height and helps minimise injuries that can sometimes be caused by the airbags themselves.

Stability control.

CR-V’s advanced Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system combines individual brake control, engine power and Traction Control (TCS) to maintain vehicle stability in critical situations, such as when cornering hard or driving in bad weather.

Smart braking.

Along with an Anti-Locking Brake System (ABS), the CR-V has Electronic Brakeforce Distribution to optimally spread braking force to each wheel. In addition, the Brake Assist function works to increase braking output in emergency conditions, increasing stability and control when you need it most.

Impact absorbing body.

Developed at Honda’s car-to-car crash test facility, G-Force Control (G-Con) vehicle-body technology acts to absorb impact energy in a crash and disperse it away from passengers, helping to reduce risk and provide increased protection to the occupants.

Keyless entry, engine immobiliser.

Keyless entry and an advanced engine immobiliser are standard on all CR-V models. You can be confident that your car and contents are safe, thanks to a fully integrated security alarm system.

Pedestrian safety.

In the event of an accident, CR-V’s impact-absorbing front bumper and bonnet are designed to help reduce the risk of harm to pedestrians.

Anti-whiplash head restraints.

CR-V’s active front head restraints move forward and up to absorb impact and help minimise the risk of whiplash and neck injury to you and your passenger if a rear-end collision occurs.
